Booking
How do I book?
Fill in the booking form. It takes about two minutes. We'll check the date and reply with a written quote.
How far ahead should we book?
As soon as you have a date. Saturdays go first, especially in ball season.
Can we book at short notice?
Often, yes, if a photographer is free.
Do you cover the Gold Coast?
Yes. We're based in Brisbane and photograph events across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.
Pricing
How much does it cost?
University clubs and societies start from $290 for 2 hours with one photographer, and a 4 hour ball is $445. Parties start from $450 for 2 hours and weddings from $715 for 3 hours. Corporate events and the photobooth are quoted. Every photography price includes unlimited images, editing and digital delivery.
Are there any extra costs?
Only what's in your written quote. A second photographer is quoted with your booking. Travel outside Brisbane and the Gold Coast is quoted. You'll see all of it before you pay anything.
On the night
How many photographers do we need?
One photographer covers events up to around 300 guests. For bigger events, or if you'd like more angles, we'll add more of the team.
Who will photograph our event?
Shaun or one of our team. If you'd like someone in particular, tell us when you book.
Your photos
How many photos will we get?
Unlimited. We edit and deliver every good frame.
How are the photos delivered?
In a private online gallery at gallery.shaunmoon.com.au, in high resolution, ready to download and share. Guests can find the photos they appear in with a selfie. Your selfie never leaves your phone. It's turned into a set of numbers that's matched against the gallery and not kept. Available on galleries where it's switched on.
What's your editing style?
Elegant and minimal: clean, natural colour that flatters people and won't date.
Using the photos
Can we post the photos?
Yes. Your files are watermark-free, with non-commercial distribution rights, so share them wherever you like.
The photobooth
What do guests get from the photobooth?
Their photos on their phone by QR, a GIF of their session, and a print when you've chosen a print booth. You get a private gallery of the whole night.
